Thanksgiving Feasts for Neighbors in Need

At ACTC, Thanksgiving means giving thanks for the donors, volunteers, partners, individuals, and families who come together to share baskets of food for the holiday. Check out scenes from this year’s event in the photo gallery below, or watch the report from WBAL TV 11.

Turkeys for every family’s table

Thanks to the Maryland Food Bank or other donors, every family received a turkey for their table

Special acknowledgment goes to our grocery store partners, Giant (fairgrounds and Drumcastle locations) and ShopRite Timonium, to the Maryland Food Bank for donation of more than 200 turkeys, and PJ Foods for assistance with food storage. And extra special thanks to ACTC Executive Vice President Pat Shaw, who is stepping down after organizing the Thanksgiving event for many years. Her leadership has made Thanksgiving joyful for thousands of families in our community, and her dedication has inspired the volunteers who will keep the event going in the years ahead.
